That's kinda shitty way to go about it isn't it? Not really good optics I'd say. Did he say Imminent Domain would be the last resort… or is it already a done deal? I'm not sure I'd support a wall if a mans private property was being stolen, and/or we had to pay extra taxes to forcefully buyout a mans private property.

I wonder if that was the situation in the Camp fire… I thought I heard there was a railway plan for that area. Easy way to get around the bad optics of Imminent Domain if the people/land/homes are just burnt or vaporized.

Well I hope that's true. But I kinda have a feeling that the ranchers along the border are friendly with immigrants… like they are probably employing nearly all illegals. Does POTUS farm deal also include ranchers… or just farmers?

Yeah no doubt there is a lot of legal and illegal deals at the border. But if that's the case then the rancher should be held accountable for criminal behavior. But just because it's a suspicion doesn't mean confiscate his land to put a wall.

C'mon now…. border property is priceless. Hard to put a fair market value on something that is unique. Definately gotta be some hardcore arm twisting involved. I'm thinking there are situations going on like when the railways were laid… have you seen the movie "American Outlaws"?
