Nice pic the daily mail threw in, kek

Are they trying to get Trump supporters upset about the shutdown?

It's not goinf to stop people from buying or getting beer, just for new creations.

They already have thousands of different types of beers out there, i think the people will survive for now, kek

President Trump's 17-day border wall government shutdown stalemate threatens beer and wine supplies as vital regulatory body is forced to close its doors

The 17-day shutdown has closed the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau

Craft breweries and wineries are left in limbo as new products can't be approved

With no end to the stalemate in sight, independent brewers are feeling the strain

A huge approval backlog is accumulating, jeopardizing next season's flavors

On Friday, Trump said he was 'proud' of the shutdown and said it could last years

Airport security and National Parks aren't the only casualties of the 17-day border wall stalemate between President Trump and congressional democrats that's caused a partial government closure - alcohol supplies could be next on the list too.

Craft beer breweries and wineries across the US - who regularly roll out new and experimental concoctions - may see their seasonal spring flavors abandoned, as the government agency responsible for approving labels for new drinks has been forced to close its doors.

Until lawmakers strike a deal to conclude the shutdown, the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) will remain inactive, meaning no new varieties of alcoholic drinks will be found on grocery store shelves or in local breweries.

Last year, the TTB was responsible for approving over 192,000 new drinks, but following the government's closure on December 22, craft makers are beginning to feel the strain with no end to the stand-off in sight.
