Denmark plans 'Silicon Valley' on 9 artificial islands off Copenhagen

The Danish government revealed plans on Monday to build nine artificial islands by 2040 to house a new industrial zone off the southern coast of Copenhagen.

Dubbed Project "Holmene," the islands are designed to bolster the capital's attractiveness in the eyes of international businesses and could result in the creation of some 12,000 jobs, Interior Minister Simon Emil Ammitzboell-Bille said.

"We will stand stronger in international competition to attract business, investment and highly qualified labor," he said.

Taiwan arrests BASF staff for selling secrets to China

Taiwanese authorities on Monday announced they had arrested six current and former employees of German chemicals giant BASF for passing trade secrets to a Chinese company.

The Taiwan Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) said engineers were involved in a plot "to leak crucial technology and manufacturing processes … to make illegal profits."

The engineers had received at least $1.3 million (€1.1 million) out of nearly $6 million offered by China-based Jiangyin Jianghua Microelectronics Materials Co., said CIB director Lu Sung Hao.

The engineers, including at least one senior manager, are suspected of selling the Jiangsu-based company electronic manufacturing processes to build a chemicals plant in mainland China.

The climate crisis industry incessantly claims that fossil fuel emissions are causing unprecedented temperature, climate and weather changes that pose existential threats to human civilization and our planet. The only solution, Climate Crisis, Inc. insists, is to eliminate the oil, coal and natural gas that provide 80% of the energy that makes US and global economies, health and living standards possible.

Failing that, CCI demands steadily increasing taxes on carbon-based fuels and carbon dioxide emissions.

However, as France’s Yellow Vest protests and the latest climate confab in Poland demonstrated, the world is not prepared to go down that dark path. Countries worldwide are expanding their reliable fossil fuel use, and families do not want to reduce their living standards or their aspirations for better lives.

Moreover, climate computer model forecasts are completely out of touch with real-world observations. There is no evidence to support claims that the slight temperature, climate and weather changes we’ve experienced are dangerous, unprecedented or caused by humans, instead of by the powerful solar, oceanic and other natural forces that have driven similar or far more serious changes throughout history.

Over 400 displaced Syrians return via Nassib border crossing

Daraa, SANA- over 400 Syrians who had been displaced due to terrorist acts returned home via Nassib border crossing with Jordan.

Head of center at Nassib crossing Mazen Ghandour said the Nassib border received 404 displaced Syrians using temporary passage tickets since the beginning of January , adding that the returnees’ movement is increasing daily following the facilitation granted by the government to enable the displaced return their villages and towns liberated from terrorism.

At Least 26 Killed In Taliban Attacks In Western, Eastern Afghanistan

Taliban militants have stormed security posts in western Afghanistan, killing 21 police officers and pro-government militia members, officials said on January 7.

The attacks occurred late on January 6 at checkpoints in two different parts of Badghis Province, which borders the Central Asian nation of Turkmenistan, provincial officials said.

Abdul Aziz Bek, head of the Badghis provincial council, said 14 police officers and seven members of pro-government militias were killed, while nine were wounded.

Jamshid Shahabi, a spokesman for the Badghis provincial governor, said at least 15 Taliban militants were killed and 10 wounded in the fighting.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Taliban spokesman Qari Yousuf Ahmadi said in a statement that militants killed 34 members of the security forces and pro-government militias and seized many weapons and ammunition.

Meanwhile, a roadside bombing has killed five civilians and wounded seven in the country’s eastern Paktika Province, an Afghan official said on January 7.

Nawroz Ishaq, the provincial governor’s spokesman, said the attack occurred in the Jani Khail district.

No one claimed responsibility for the bombing, but provincial official Mohammad Rasoul Adel blamed the Taliban, saying the group had left the bomb in a village square.

Youtube Deletes Warning to Jews — After HUNDREDS of Muslims in Malmo Sweden THREATEN MASS MURDER (VIDEO)

Website Vlad Tepes received a message this week after YouTube deleted their video of hundreds of Muslims in Malmo, Sweden were filmed chanting. “Death to Jews!” and “Khabar, Khabar! O Jew!” at a rally in in December 2017.

Vlad Tepes translated the video and posted it over a year ago.

YouTube says it “violates their content standards.”

Apparently, warning Jews of the growing threats across Europe by radical Islamists is forbidden by YouTube.

UK Downing Street Sets Up Special Unit to Monitor Dark Web Happenings

An anonymous network of dark web news sites has caught the attention of the United Kingdom for creating fake, catchy and viral content about the UK and spreading populist messages across the world through internet. The incidences have led Downing Street to set up a special task force to handle the matter through intelligence gathering and dark web monitoring.

The threats posed by such anonymous sites have been deemed as worrying. In one of the first parts of a major three phase investigation by the Politico, it is clear how a new breed of hyper-partisan anonymous news sites that are anti-Islam, right-wing, and pro-Brexit have influenced these ideas and have the UK government worried.
