Two of the universe's basic components are harmony and disharmony. Humans, an expression of the universe are capable of harmonies and disharmonies. There may also be various advanced disharmonic and harmonic beings/entities.

Our consciousness seeks to classify/mythologize/deify expressions of harmony/disharmony

For example: Every religion and belief structure on Earth

The word being made flesh thing is a pretty good point.

Jesus = I am the word.

People should be imitating Christ's lifestyle because he said to

He told the rich man to sell his belongings, give the proceeds to the poor.

He told him it was impossible for a rich person to enter heaven

(Camel through eye of needle)

He told people to be ascetics, get rid of their "things" and "follow him"

And he lived plainly and without luxury for the most part, dedicating himself wholly to helping and healing others

He did not wave a torah around and constantly argue for people to refer back to it while he violated the sabbath to heal people.

He was an incredible reformer, physically repelling capitalists out of the temple.

He believed mercantilism corrupted the faith.

The opulence of the church is all wrong

If people walked in his footsteps they wouldn't need the Bible because spiritual revelation would be a part of their daily life

Jesus said "Remember to worship me."

Quick, find the verse.

Give thanks when you break bread in remembrance of him, sure.

He also said "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

Religion is helpful for the spiritually dead

You're a very silly Catholic.

I made an excellent point and you ignored it.

And now that you filter me, you can render yourself immune to criticism and stay within your little narcissistic bubble.

Bet it gets lonely
