Exactly, that's because "religion" is man-made.
Christianity is not man-made, not true Christianity, i.e. being born again of Holy Spirit.
True Christianity is a transformation, a metamorphesis - you change from just a body & soul being to having body, soul AND Spirit. It's cool man! I know, that I know, that I know that I am saved because I can manifest Holy Spirit whenever I need to. I have POWER, WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, PEACE, LOVE, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. So much more that man-made religion!
Actually, Adam already had knowledge of good. He got that from God. The only thing he gained from eating of the forbidden fruit was knowledge of evil. He lost everything else. He lost Holy Spirit, his connection to God. That was why he immediately became afraid of God and hid himself from him.

I use the King James version because with the King James version you can go directly to the Concordance and compare it to the original Greek/Latin text. That's the closest we have.
True, though that man has added and taken away from God's true word, but you can decipher all of that through working the word of truth - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
