Behold the power of God in the Psalms!

The future proves the past.

Psalm 29:

The Voice of God in a Great Storm

A Psalm of David.

29 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,

ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory of his name;

worship the Lord in holy array.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters;

the God of glory thunders,

the Lord, upon many waters.

4 The voice of the Lord is powerful,

the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars,

the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.

6 He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf,

and Sir′ion like a young wild ox.

7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.

8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness,

the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 The voice of the Lord makes the oaks to whirl,

and strips the forests bare;

and in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;

the Lord sits enthroned as king for ever.

11 May the Lord give strength to his people!

May the Lord bless his people with peace!

I have read and studied many books/spiritual traditions – they all have strong elements of Truth in them – that is why they have survived for so long.

However, I found the FULLNESS of TRUTH is not something, but somebody – Our Lord, Jesus.

"I am the way, the truth and the life…"

God Bless!

Lots of great truthful sayings in Eastern Philosophies – studied them before my conversion.

However, the truths taught point to abstract notions of God/universal life forces/yin and yang.

To me it is far better to have a God who is Our Father; who loves us; give us the freewill to love him back; is merciful through his Son Jesus who the way, the truth and the life!

How awesome is that! To be able to have a personal relationship with the TRUTH, if we only open our hearts to him!

God Bless.

Jesus is one of the three elements of the Holy Trinity… Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

It is a mystery how the three are as one, but yet three… I guess we find out how that works when God wants us to!

God Bless.

Be careful not to hang a vacancy sign in your "Kingdom" as there are many bad/false spirits that can fill that void.

It is via baptism – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – that the Kingdom of GOD can be within you – the temple of the Holy Spirit.

God Bless!

Behold the power of God in the Psalms!

The future proves the past.

Psalm 3:

Trust in God under Adversity

A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.

3 O Lord, how many are my foes!

Many are rising against me;

2 many are saying of me,

there is no help for him in God. Selah

3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield about me,

my glory, and the lifter of my head.

4 I cry aloud to the Lord,

and he answers me from his holy hill. Selah

5 I lie down and sleep;

I wake again, for the Lord sustains me.

6 I am not afraid of ten thousands of people

who have set themselves against me round about.

7 Arise, O Lord!

Deliver me, O my God!

For thou dost smite all my enemies on the cheek,

thou dost break the teeth of the wicked.

8 Deliverance belongs to the Lord;

thy blessing be upon thy people! Selah

The Holy Trinity is a God revealed Theological Mystery that has been contemplated for ages by Saints and many great theologians.

Embrace the idea that God has set mysteries before us. We are not meant to understand everything – have Faith!

Hope that helps. God Bless!

Thank you very much for your Blessing!

Matthew:

10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.

12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Behold the power of God in the Psalms!

The future proves the past.

Psalm 23:

The Divine Shepherd

A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want;

2 he makes me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters;

3 he restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness

for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I fear no evil;

for thou art with me;

thy rod and thy staff,

they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me

in the presence of my enemies;

thou anointest my head with oil,

my cup overflows.

6 Surely[e] goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life;

and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord

for ever.

Read the Psalms, let the WORDS sink in visually in the mind, don't worry about trying to understand everything at once.

Meditate on the Word of God, do not meditate in a way that effectively puts a vacancy sign on your soul that can be occupied by many spirits that do not have your best interests in mind.

I guarantee you will become a Spiritual Warrior par excellence if you do this with deliberate regularly using the WORDS of God.

God Bless!

John 10:

Jesus the Good Shepherd

10 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber; 2 but he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the gatekeeper opens; the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 This figure Jesus used with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them.

7 So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not heed them. 9 I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 He who is a hireling and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13 He flees because he is a hireling and cares nothing for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me, 15 as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again; this charge I have received from my Father.”

19 There was again a division among the Jews because of these words. 20 Many of them said, “He has a demon, and he is mad; why listen to him?” 21 Others said, “These are not the sayings of one who has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”
