They should have been the 1st to utilize the internet all those many years ago. They doomed themselves.
On a personal note, the Sears catalog, Christmas, and kids = some of the most wonderful and treasured memories shared by, literally, damn near every person for the past 100+ years.
It's always sad when the end of an era happens. That era represents so much more than a business and memories. Let the very real and deserved mourning begin.
