Q, if we're watching a movie, who wrote the script?

What if the Bible was altered centuries ago by those who had seen something "enlightening", and the script had been created to accomplish a self-fulfilling prophesy? These are all actors playing the roles they've been assigned in order to accomplish very specific outcomes. Or, maybe ONE very specific outcome. The stepping up of someone who has simply had enough.
