Gillum and DeBlasio are the last stand for the progressives….there is very little they can try so healthcare is their last carrot to illegals….it looks more like one last desperate attempt at garnering support as so many of their other talking points, narratives have backfired….neither will be long for public office and DeBlasio (not his real name…go figure Dems need a new name to run for office it seems) possible indictments for much of the corruption he has been a part of in NY.
Anon I feel your pain, worked for gov for 10 years, had payroll delays too back in the 90's but here is the difference between you and someone in the private sector, small business etc. You will go back to work, you will get your backpay, after 2008 crash, lost 75000 on the value of my house, my spouse lost half of his business, had to apply for assistance to feed my kids, lost the house, divorced, became homeless, that was the reality for many under dem control. THe public and private sector are very different realms of employment, I am not minimizing your hardship totally understand but I think you know what I am saying. There is no other way to force dems to agree to a wall, if POTUS caves, thats it, he will not get re-elected and we will have socialism within 10 to twenty years. I am sorry for your troubles, but there is no other way in my opinion.

Most people deal with those they do not like on a daily basis and people just get it done, many think they are them most imcompetent and overrated people in power and POTUS has won over many who originally voted for Hillary or wanted Sanders to win. This will backfire bigtime, their constant push to control the "narrative" is so obvious.
