He was accused of being busted for smuggling cocaine and straight away major law firms were threatening defamation if anyone published the accusation. The head of the police also came out and said that Gayford had not been under police investigation. Smelled like a coverup using the power of the state.
There is no seperation of powers in NZ and no upper house of parliament so any law can be passed without oversight. Even laws that contravene the Bill of Rights are regularly passed. The Judiciary has been accused of serious corruption and coverups by legal experts.
The governing Labour party had a youth camp when teenagers were plied with alcohol and left unsupervised. Three underage teens were sexually assaulted by the son of a senior Labour official. The government pretty much swept it under the carpet.
Jacinda even attended the 40th birthday of a former MP who was accused of sexually assaulting a young male. The MP then left the country for around 10 years.
Then there is the Karel Sroubek case where a gangster and convicted drug smuggler was granted residency despite entering the country illegally. He is a friend of Richie Hardcore who is a close friend of Gayford and Jacinda. Harcore, a professional fighter, congratulated Jacinda on the decision.
Jacinda is also the former head of the international socialist youth. That should tell you what you need to know about the state of the NZ govt. She has openly mocked Trump and has incurred steel tariffs as a result. She even falsly accused Trump of mistaking her for Trudeau's wife.
NZ is in the 5eyes despite evidence China has infiltrated both major political parties and is using New Zealand as a back door to access US intel.
