The breakup of Yugoslavia was a bloody affair but I don't really understand /pol/'s infatuation with 1990's Serbia, the war had nothing to do with religion but with every country involved trying to secure as much territory as possible. There was no repeat of the 'crusades' as we know it, although I have great respect for those who fell in the Battle of Kosovo but that was such a long time ago that the people who live in these parts are hardly the same as back then.
