"West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice said West Virginia hauled in the highest-first quarter surplus in state history - nearly $120 million for fiscal year 2019.

“An annualized growth rate of 18 percent is frankly unheard of,” Justice said Monday in a news release. “I’ve been saying, and I’m going to continue saying it, what is taking place here is an incredible, incredible story.”
