Wondering here (and probably slow to the game) but was the whole point of the UN and EU to tie the hands of allies and prevent them from coming to the aid of people overthrowing a corrupt government while enabling the corrupt government to bring in other countrymen to put down each other’s revolutionaries? I bet if anyone tried to help France, the entire UN and EU would pile on and declare war.

I guess they learned how to prevent (or at least try to) another revolt by colonies…
