When it comes to the southern border wall, Where Ann Goes so Go We all. She played her part, sincerely, in drawing even more public attention to the White House push for wider consensus in favor of budgeting and building the wall/fence. Her detonation was loyal to POTUS' own national agenda. MAGA.

Hey, if it is bad – so bad – for the Orange Man to do it, and we might take Shitt at his word on that, then, badder for his critics to do what they say is bad bad bad. They supposedly know better than to do the bad thing, stoking fear and division.
Man, they do not get how they come across, do they? Yes, they are talking to those whose confirmation bias is favorable to the Dems and unfavorable to POTUS, but but but this broadcast political theater is gonna redpill many who want border security (which means building that wall and opening government) and have liddle argumentative ammunition to delay and moar.
The crisis pre-existed the Trump presidency. POTUS has all of his predecessors saying as much. He has the current DEM leadership saying as much.
He has set a precedent with the move of the embassy to Jerusalem. Gonna get it done, fulfilling the promises of them all. And it will come in under budget, mark my words.
The broader border consensus on border security is a given. Acting on it is now a given because POTUS is not backing down.
And he did not let the DEMs off the hook. He could've announced his intention to building under EO and the MIL budget. But instead he gave them the opportunity, in the legislative branch, to fulfill their own oath to defend and protect the citizens of their country. And he gave them the opportunity again tonight.
The DEMS could make this go away and save themselves a lot of bother and cut their losses. They could turn this into a plus for themselves. Vote for the budgeting the wall – at least take a wait and see approach and fund the wall with proviso that it will be studied for effectiveness. Face-saving deal. Their obstruction will be forgotten by their supporters, later, anyway.
But for now they are dug-in and stuck on stupid.
Good observation. It is due to camera angle, however. And that is a choice made by the filming crew, certainly. CNN's view also cuts-off the family photos on bottom right corner of frame. Focal depth makes the flags appear closer to POTUS – and the higher view makes for less window reflection. These are legit choices. Yet the good observation about the perception of the size of the chair – and so the size of the man seated in that chair. Also a production choice.
