Chuck & Nancy should have looked happy. No death penalty, and life in a US prison, not Gitmo.

The only thing Trump could have done better would have been to say: "Are they now against a barrier just because I said 'build a wall'? Do they see this as politics? I'm sorry, I appologize if I am the reason why they changed their position to oppose protecting our people!"

That would have been the kiss of death.
