Hesistate to say this however it appears we are tracing a head and shoulders top here. Appears to be working on the right side and already has a defined head and left shoulder.
Again these are not always a predictive thing. All it needs is a push of a keyboard and it's nullified. Patterns and candlestick trading strategy's were virtually wiped out starting in 2009. As to say anything that predicted a short situation was quickly 'fixed'.
Oil still in a bear rally. The projections released yesterday still have it in high $60's.
Not impossible with COMEX paper trading but I can't see that habbening. methinks it's being pushed up to be shorted ala the silver trade that started in 2009 and had it get to $49 before being slammed.
This is on declining volume since the start. Bottom of chart see the steady decline of the volume bars. Chop city here.
You want to see a gradual rolling type of trade not peaks like that.
