Rempel is most certainly a globalist, she's spent a considerable amount of time worrying about the Yazidi people of Iraq and Syria. She's probably expelled more energy trying to get those people into Canada than she has spent representing her own constituents. Garnet Genius is another who seems more enamoured with the middle east than he is with Canadians. I get that the Iranians and the Yazidi people need help, but for fucks sake, these people were elected to represent Canadians, not foreigners. Their priorities are misplaced. I'd also like to know why the Conservative party stance went from opposing the rush of illegal border crossers we've been experiencing and sending them home to now exploring pathways to citizenship for these criminals. Pandering at it's finest. Sure, these Conservative people do a fine job of keeping Trudeau's feet to the fire in the House of Commons, yet there is more to representing the population than simply excelling at debate. The Conservatives really seem to slack off once in power as witnessed after the 2011 election promises regarding firearms ownership in which they drug their feet and ultimately came up short for gun owning Canadians. I do not trust them after that and the High River gun grab during the flood of 2013.
