I have been trying to find info on Maxime Bernier and where the money coming into his party is coming from. I realize that at least some of it is coming from PPC supporters, but it seems like a lot in a very short period of time. Has anyone been able to find any info on other possible (if any) sources of funds to PPC?

Thanks for posting this Anon. It is a start.

We can't afford to follow blindly anymore. I have had my concerns regarding Bernier just as I have had concerns about Scheer. Hopefully, more will be found regarding both of them.

Scheer has been very vocal about the SNC Lavalin scandal. I am surprised that there has been no comment yet from Bernier on this scandal at all yet. I wonder why?

Surprisinglys this is from the CBC: QC pension fund owns 20% of SNC-Lavalin stock

Also, SA is one of SNC-Lavalin's biggest customers, with over 300 projects executed in the last 10 yrs worth close to $10 billion.

No wonder QC premier wants the government to step in and settle the SNC-Lavalin case out of court. Also explains QC's insistance on blocking pipelines that would carry AB oil to the east coast.

Agreed Anon. I have my concerns about both Scheer and Bernier to be honest. I am leaning more strongly to separating. I think AB will be respected a lot more if we were a part of the USA and, frankly, I would be honoured to call Donald Trump my president.

I do like how the UCP is involving the membership in policy establishment, but Kenney is a federalist. It would take quite a lot of pushing to get him to hold a referendum I think. Perhaps the better idea would be for the people to hold a referendum themselves and hold him to do what the people want. It is us that needs to remind the governments, at all levels, that they work for us.

There needs to be a forensic audit on the accounting of the ndp in AB–they should not be able to simply walk away after they lose the election. They need to be held accountable for what they have done and all subsequent governments need to be held to account as well.

Will all this happen? Perhaps, but there are too many still asleep, even in AB. Their willful blindness is frightening to say the least.

I do think that Kenney will push for more say in the West when it comes to federal elections. He has stated in the past that he will 'turn off the taps' and I think that would apply the the money tap of equalization as well.

We do need a new electoral system in this country for sure. Provinces need to be represented equally with no one province holding more seats than any other. I would like to see something like an electoral college as well in this country.

I wish we could get more guidance from Q as well. The corruption runs so very deep in Canada it boggles the mind.

Q if you are reading the Canada Bread, please throw us a few crumbs.

From the aticle: There has been a common thread in in the global communist movement since 1997 and it is a system that people have heard very little to nothing about. Its name “The Social Economy”; an elaborate government funded sector that produces very little in profits but consumes billions in tax dollars. Through government tax incentives, tax credits and grants, charities, foundations, non-profits, and Non-governmental organization (NGOs) have been siphoning off tax payer’s money to fund this “Social Economy”. An elaborate money-laundering scheme designed by Corporations and their foundations to offset profit margins by re-investing in their foundations while at the same time lobbying and pushing for governmental policy changes in favour of this “Social Economy.” What the Tides Foundation, a George Soros funded organization refers to as “The Hybrid Universe” as shown in Figure #1. Hybrid Universe is defined as Foundations and Businesses bending Governments to their will. The social economy is at the very heart of global mass migration. In simplest terms, Canadian’s are funding their own invasion.

The article goes on to discuss Johanne Mennie, the Director of the PPC, Bernier, and a who's who of liberal and communists in Canada, including Bronfmans etc and Soros' Tides Foundation.

I have heard 159 trucks left Red Deer on the 14th. I think they were expecting around 200 trucks to arrive in Ottawa. Proud of everyone who took part and who supported the convoy through donations and at rallies along the way. It would have been better to see a much larger turnout.

More on the PPC and its Director Johanne Mennie:

"We have examined his [Bernier's] background and found numerous inconsistencies, however it is his current associations that have raised red flags. For a leader who is a bastion of conservatism to hire an individual such as Johanne Mennie for his Director of Communications is astonishing.

Who is Johanne Mennie? Johanne has worked in numerous roles in the government throughout her career. One major consistency, however, has been her involvement in social engineering and promotion of social economy."

Ms Mennie has been closely involved in more than one project with players such as Coro Strandberg who is the author of ‘Canada 2030: Embedding Sustainability into Corporate Governance’ (3), David LePage who is a founding partner of the Social Enterprise Institute (4) and Nancy Neamtan who is a promoter of Social Economy (5).

"Ms. Mennie and her associates have lobbied extensively with the government for the social economy. They proposed that the government should 1) develop regulations preferential to the establishment of social economy enterprises, 2) provide training to low-skilled people, 3) provide preferential government contracts to such enterprises, and 4) make funds available to establish and support such enterprises. Ms. Mennie was closely involved with the Vancity Plan Institute for Caring Citizenship which was funded by Tides Canada."

$928,000 gift from European Climate Foundation founder and government lobbyist McCall MacBain to 2015 Federal Election candidate Justin Trudeau represents the single largest bribery scandal in Canadian history. The gift, $428,000 in 2015 (Trudeau was an election candidate) & $500,000 in 2016 by McCall MacBain (European Climate Foundation) is defined by the criminal code of Canada as criminal offences of: foreign influenced activity (defined by Canadian Security Intelligence Service Act as threats to the security of Canada), Frauds on the government / influence peddling, breach of trust, fraud, theft & Bribery of judicial officers in that the foreign European Climate Foundation founder and lobbyist McCall MacBain paid a member of Parliament almost a $million to influence (solicit) Justin Trudeau to pledge, in his official capacity as Prime Minister of Canada, $2.65 billion to MacBain’s climate change cause / agenda.

The Conflict of Interest Act & Canada Elections Act also prohibited the Liberal Party 2015 election candidate Justin Trudeau from accepting the $928,000 gift from climate change lobbyist McCall MacBain. Gift might reasonably be seen to have influenced Trudeau to pledge $2.65 billion to MacBain cause.

The chief fundraiser and senior adviser to the Canadian prime minister, Justin Trudeau, who played a critical role in the rise to power of the charismatic politician, was involved in the movement of millions of dollars to offshore havens, the Paradise Papers reveal.

Stephen Bronfman, heir to the Seagram fortune, who was instrumental in Trudeau’s successful bid for the leadership of the Canadian Liberal party in 2013 and the premiership two years later, engaged through his family investment business in a complex web of entities in the US, Israel and the Cayman Islands. Multimillion-dollar cashflows between the three jurisdictions might legally have avoided taxes in the US, Canada and Israel.

The leaked documents unveil a close relationship between two wealthy families who collaborated to shift millions of dollars to the Cayman Islands. On one side were the Bronfman family, inheritors of the Seagram distillery fortune in Montreal.

According to La Presse, SNC-Lavalin had some “eventful” nights with Muammar Gaddafi’s son, all on the dime of the engineering giant.
