She was a family friend. Has a kid under 10 (I Think). so could be friends with Jrs. kids.
Vanessa also sent out a twitter to leave both of them alone. IOW, could be something to your theory. The white powder incident with Vanessa was the deciding factor, I think. Kids and Vanessa fell off the radar after that.
