Yup. It's when we started making moves to get out of the suburbs/city and move rural in a different state. Serious life changes to protect all generations of our family.
>>4692472 It was hard on us too. We took a tremendous monetary cut by losing an income, but we weathered it alright. We don't regret living somewhere more defensible and peaceful. It all just speaks to priorities. Life is full of little choices.
In the end, we all just do the best we can. Hopefully, we can look to some real change for the better to get things back on track and keep them there. Seems like the last 40 years of our lives has been a huge slide.
