ACoE started this June/July 2017 near San Diego. Pics were taken early 2018. I don't think people quite understand actually how long the US/MX border is…gonna take a while to complete. All the public debating over the wall is merely for optics and political jockeying. The funds have been there all along (notice how this is a "fence" (cough, fence act, cough cough), not a wall? A "metal barrier", as Trump put it in his address?). You're watching a movie. This is all just part of the script.

Do you all truly believe that steel is easier to cut through than concrete?

 

Concrete, structurally, is very weak compared to steel, which is why they reinforce concrete with steel. The original pic of the cut-through steel vertical sections of wall are apparently hollow steel angular tubes filled with concrete. What we would need is solid steel tubes.
