National Emergency: Crisis at the Border(s)?

Why did MSM go ape-shit crazy over potential 8-minute POTUS Address on border wall? Normal?

What if POTUS were to declare a national emergency, but the wording is not laser-focused on just immigrants crossing the border, but also targeted the masterminds, the enablers, the entire system? What if it's broad enough to go after the masterminds of illegal immigration around the globe?

Take EO 13818, "Human Rights Abuses and Corruption" as a template and substitute (for example) Illegal Immigration onto a Sovereign Territory, you'd get:

— to be responsible for or complicit in, or to have directly or indirectly engaged in…(illegal immigration)

— to have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services to or in support of (illegal immigration)

— to be a current or former government official, or a person acting for or on behalf of such an official, who is responsible for or complicit in, or has directly or indirectly engaged in…(illegal immigration)

— Any conspiracy formed to violate any of the prohibitions set forth in this order is prohibited

Such an EO could ensnare corrupt politicians/corporations/NGOs/unwitting activists vs just "illegal immigrants" – root cause

Maybe (((they))) are more afraid of being found complicit, than of immigrants crossing the border?

What if POTUS were to secretly circulate such a draft EO… might get Chuck/Nancy to cut their losses?
