President Trump to Liberal Media: “I’d Say 80% of You Are Possibly in Coordination with the Opposition Party”

President Trump spoke with reporters on Thursday morning outside the White House before traveling to inspect the US southern border.

President Trump slammed the mainstream media for their complete bias against him and the American people.

Trump challenged them to go to the border and rent a helicopter.

President Trump: Look, look, you can all play cute. and I’d say 80% of you are possibly in coordination with the opposition party. I mean the whole thing is ridiculous. All you have to do is look at the borders. Rent a helicopter, except you don’t want to know the truth. And by the way, here’s a story, there’s

Of course, Trump is right.

The liberal media was totally biased against him during the 2016 election.

The Media Research Center found 91% of the coverage of Trump in the weeks leading up to the election was “hostile” towards the Republican candidate.

Thanks to Wikileaks we now know that at least 65 mainstream reporters were working closely with the Clinton campaign this election year. They were invited to top elitist dinners with Hillary Campaign Chairman John Podesta or Chief Campaign strategist Joel Benenson.

NOT A SINGLE FOX NEWS REPORTER MADE THE LIST!

These 65 mainstream reporters CAN NEVER BE TRUSTED:

As previously reported— At least 38 top national reporters attended a different dinner at John Podesta’s house in April 2015.

The Clinton campaign sent out invites to New York reporters in April 2015 to their off-the-record meeting on how to sell Hillary Clinton to the public.

‘Deepfakes’ in action: Seattle TV station accused of doctoring Trump speech video

As the nation tuned in to President Trump’s national address on border security, one Seattle TV station apparently manipulated its coverage on the fly, editing the footage to show Trump sticking out his tongue at viewers.

In a side-by-side comparison, Q13 Fox in Seattle appears to have edited its coverage of Trump’s address, turning the president’s skin color a ludicrous shade of orange. In between sentences, the station seems to have doctored the footage to show Trump sticking out his tongue and licking his lips.

Q13 told MyNorthWest that the footage was indeed doctored, and that the culprit has been placed on leave.

“We are investigating this to determine what happened,” said Q13’s news director. “This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the President in a negative light. The editor responsible for editing the footage is being placed on leave while we investigate further.”

Faking video footage has become easy in recent years, thanks to the widespread availability of video editing software. A combative press conference debate between CNN anchor Jim Acosta and President Trump in November put the issue in the spotlight, after internet detectives accused Infowars editor Paul Joseph Watson of editing video footage of Acosta pushing a White House intern to make the anchor look bad. The ‘edited’ video was shared by the White House, Watson denied the accusation, and eventually the debate was forgotten about.

Slowing down video footage is one thing, but so-called ‘deepfake’ videos – real and fake footage spliced together with the help of artificial intelligence – are becoming increasingly harder to spot and can be put to a limitless array of malicious uses.

Deepfake technology has been used by the porn industry to superimpose celebrity faces onto porn actors’ bodies. One company, Naughty America, is launching a service to allow users to place their own likenesses – or those of their friends – onto performers’ bodies.

In political circles, concern has been raised that ‘deepfakes’ can be used to doctor footage of politicians and leaders, making them appear to do or say just about anything. As Russian hysteria gripped the nation following the 2016 election, news outlets and commentators repeatedly warned that ‘Russian trolls’ were planning on using deepfake videos to disrupt the 2018 midterm elections.

The predictions never came to pass. However, as the footage from Seattle this week shows, AI-enhanced meddling is a legitimate concern, and is being put to use at home in the US.

'Fake' Fed Minutes? DiMartino Booth: "They Were Definitely Massaged, Modified"

The Federal Reserve’s recent market-easing message is raising concerns over whether the December minutes had been “massaged.”

“As a Fed chair, as somebody who came from the private sector, who understood how business was done, [Federal Chairman Jerome Powell] had not previously let the Fed minutes be doctored,” former Dallas Fed adviser Danielle DiMartino Booth told FOX Business’ Lauren Simonetti on “FBN: AM”on Thursday.

“It was fairly apparent given yesterday’s minutes release that they were definitely massaged, modified, call it what you will, after the fact.”

During its December meeting, the Fed signaled that it would take a more relaxed approach to interest rate hikes in 2019. The minutes followed Powell’s comments last week that the Fed would be more “flexible” on policy, depending on the economy.

In the past, monetary policy was strictly based on austerity, but, in Booth’s opinion, investors have become too familiar with a Federal Reservethat “placates” the markets when stocks decline.

“Investors of this generation, they don’t have any recollection of pre-[Alan] Greenspan days when monetary policy was simply made to reflect the situation in the economy,” she said.

“That is no longer the case.”

It had appeared that Powell would not follow in his predecessor’s footsteps, she added, but his actions have shown otherwise.

“I think that a lot of people were hoping that Jay Powell was going to break the mold of … predecessors and not kowtow, not placate investors,” she said.

“But he’s clearly shown that that is not the path that he’s going to do. He does appear now to be a [Janet] Yellen and a [Ben] Bernanke type of clone.”

Booth said Powell has changed his stance four times, leaving investors guessing.

“What’s hard for investors though is, ‘What is he going to say today?’” she said. “He was hawkish in October. He was dovish in November. He was hawkish in December. And he was dovish in January.”

According to Booth, the Fed also changed its message in the 2008 transcripts.

“Transcripts are released with a 5-year lag," she said. "Janet Yellen actually said if the markets do not like the message that was conveyed in the FOMC statement, then we can use the minutes as any other tool in our toolbox. It’s a matter of public record that she said that.”

Powell is expected to reiterate his message from last week during an interview on Thursday with the Economic Club of Washington’s David Rubenstein.

In Booth’s opinion, Powell has lost credibility.
