Itโ€™s not a moral test. Itโ€™s a faith test. We are on an even playing field of disqualification via earning heaven by being good.

 

Heaven is for the faithful. Not the โ€œmost good.โ€ Though, ideally, there should be a sloppy correlation of those two variables.

In other words, God gave us the choice between good and evil but we all chose evil. Not being satisfied sending everyone to Hell, God offers forgiveness to anyone who recognizes their evil and repents of it.

 

Why the contempt for a lifeline out of a situation we willingly got ourselves into?

Would God not be capable of creating beings with only free will? Who is responsible for the actions of a being who took them freely?

 

If God created only people who would choose obedience, has he given free will? Or has he made programmed slaves?
