Caught part of The Orville (Seth MacFarlane sci-fi Trek ripoff on Fox) tonight. Spotted some obvious vaccine propaganda inserted into the plot. Season 2, Episode 3 "Home"

The tiny female crew member in charge of security needs to return home for medical recovery. She sits down to dinner with her family, joined by a middle aged couple new to the area. Right as dinner is getting started, the guests pull out guns and threaten the family. The reason? Their son, a vaccine researcher, committed suicide after having his work debunked by the father (also in medical research). The son had written a paper proving that vaccines are dangerous and can be linked to deformities in children. The father pleads with the angry couple holding them hostage, explaining that the son's work was poorly written, based on bad science, and just plain wrong.

This enrages the couple, they get some garden shears and want to cut off the hand of one of their daughters. Then Seth Mc shows up and distracts them, everyone scatters, and the 'crazy anti-vaccine' attackers are defeated by the security chief crew member.

Obvious bullshit propaganda…

Arrest them for what?

And Hollywood is protected by activist 9th district judges, would take forever to accomplish anything if they aren't flushed out.

Trump is considering cutting off California's federal funding, which if that can happen will really put some added pressure on an already bankrupt state.
