I've watched his better movies a few times like Lost Highway, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Dr. I think I've only ever seen one episode of Twin peaks. I have read esoteric analysis on it…looks bizarre.

The see through astronots should be clue enough
the light falloff (hot spots) in the surface photos are a huge clue
lack of space/capacity for computers/lifesupport/air conditioning/fuel to take off….could go on for hours. Didn't happen.
We should be able to out a robotic lander up there, but I'm skeptical the Chinese did it. Why America has not is odd to me
