Flashback 2016: Trump Says Mexico Will Pay for the Wall “Through Money We Save on Trade Negotiations”

President Trump: I often said during rallies, with little variation, that “Mexico will pay for the Wall.” We have just signed a great new Trade Deal with Mexico. It is Billions of Dollars a year better than the very bad NAFTA deal which it replaces. The difference pays for Wall many times over!

Fact Check: Pelosi Is Incorrect, MS-13 Members Routinely Pose as Children at Border

During the Democrat response to President Trump’s Oval Office address, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed that minors arriving at the United States-Mexico border are “not a security threat.”

However, this claim is not true in many cases. In a November 2017 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid, one-third of the 214 MS-13 gang members arrested in the operation had arrived in the U.S. as “Unaccompanied Alien Children” (UACs).

This year, alone, there have been numerous cases of violent MS-13 gang members arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border, posing as children.

In April 2018, and MS-13 gang member was caught at the southern border after posing as a UAC. That same month, an adult MS-13 gang member was apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol while posing as a UAC and admitted that he was headed to Los Angeles, California.

There were close to 52,000 border crossings on the southern border in November 2018, marking the highest level of illegal immigration in the month of November since 2006.

‘This is a crisis.’ Help for housing costs, homeless in Gavin Newsom’s first budget

Gov. Gavin Newsom unveiled his first California budget proposal on Thursday with a plan to pour hundreds of millions of dollars into housing and homelessness, a start on fulfilling one of his major campaign promises.

He said he wants to cut red tape to spur housing construction, too, by waiving environmental reviews for certain projects and reviewing the state’s developer impact fees.

“We have a supply and demand imbalance in this state,” he said. “Until we get serious about it, the state will continue to lose its middle class….If we continue down this path, the state is going to be a vestige of itself.”

Purges, resignations hit North Korea’s military, elites

As the world awaits word on the second Kim Jong Un-Donald Trump summit, all may not be well in the palaces of Pyongyang. Indications are that cracks are appearing in the pillars of the North Korean state – the elites and the military.

A recent article in South Korean media reported on how North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s latest round of purges has elites concerned. That follows another report that Kim is even purging his own guards for corruption.

Everybody have you heard

He's gonna buy me a mockingbird

Listen now and understand

She's gonna find me some piece of mind

And if that piece of mind won't stay

I'm gonna get myself a better way

I might rise above, I might go below

Ride with the tide and go with the flow

And that's the reason why I keep on shouting in your ear… Mockingbird Media kek

Facebook studying crypto and India’s remittance market

Facebook is known for beating all the bushes when it comes to growing its business and, as 2018 came to an end, word came that it might be ready to inject a new cryptocurrency-based solution into India’s immense stream of revenue remittances and will be doing so via its globally popular WhatsApp messaging service.

The stakes are huge – some suggest that the total contribution of Indians abroad accounts for more than 10% of the more than $600 billion annual flow in remittances worldwide – but predicting Facebook strategy is not easy today. The social media giant says very little to the media in general and has said even less about this venture
