Good job, anon, you discovered the point I was trying to make. Governments can only protect rights.
But whose rights come first? When the rights of a child conflict with the rights of the parent, whose rights are protected?
Children are starving, anon. They have a right to life. I know you worked hard, today - but they are going to need you to open up your pocket book. Or, you know, we'll bill it to you via inflation.
Whose rights come first?
You insist that abortion should be illegal and is murder. Fine. Are you going to raise those children? Pay for them? Etc?
You're saying "this is a simple issue, it's murder…"
No, that is not the simple issue. The simple issue is that society has become so decrepit that women would rather kill their children than have them. The simple fix is to un-cuck men and to strain the venom out of women - but that requires work and adjusting one's personal views to be empathetic.
You want to solve this via the legal system and that is simply retarded. The legal system is a blunt instrument that is useful for eliminating people from society and little else.

The legal consequence for murder came about because of the loss of production and the need for revenge within the human spirit. If I kill you, people who like you will look to kill me. There is also the loss of your contributions to society that go with it.
Thus, it is conducive to order that those who commit to killing others are ousted from society. If there is no attempt to investigate killings and put an end to them, then the purpose we built society in the first place becomes null and void.
Put more simply, the government has no legal obligation to keep you from killing me. The government has a legal obligation to identify and remove those who would kill others in society with no legal justification for doing so.
When seconds count, the police are just minutes away.
This is why we have concepts like the second amendment. The government is primarily responsible to order - it is why we agree to deal with such things and to mass into society in the first place. But they are not the be-all of our rights. They can't and won't.

You're putting the cart before the horse.
Where is the father of the child in all of this? If the father is pressuring for abortion… Then there is your problem. The legality and illegality of abortion is water under the bridge at that point. If there is no father present, or he is unwilling to stand up for both his partner and child… Again - there is your problem.
The problem isn't whether abortion is legal or illegal - the problem is what you described. The problem is that men and women are afraid of having children. Abortion as a state industry is evil and is being pumped up on the periphery of this issue - but the legality of abortion is a distraction from the truth of the matter - which you just pointed out. We are dealing with a very ill society.
You can make abortion illegal all you want and butcher people in the streets for daring to talk about it, even - it won't change what is fundamentally broken, and that is the family structure within GenX, Millennials, and even though "GenZ" is pushing back against the globalist trend, they grew up on Family Guy as a model for a family - so those poor bastards have no idea what they are doing.
