I cannot agree less with Charlie's view on the TSA, Over the course of 6 years of traveling every week for work, I have never had any bad experiences with the TSA. My bags were searched a few times (random searches they do sometimes). Seriously they are doing a very difficult job. Private companies will have similar issues with volume of traffic and complexity of the problem.

However, the point of the TSA being permanently removed is a good one IF we can all agree that open borders are a good idea. How can we justify TSA and have open borders at the same time? Logically inconsistent.

How about we impose similar TSA measures all down the southern border.

No boarding pass (passport/visa) no entry. Also you will be searched and probed.
