The union representing air traffic controllers across the country is suing President Trump's administration over making employees work without pay.
As the partial government shutdown reached its third week, thousands of controllers are among the hundreds of thousands of furloughed workers nationwide.
Fox 61 reported that the National Air Traffic Controllers Association filed its suit on Friday, claiming that the shutdown violates employees' constitutional rights.
"We’re calling it a violation of the Fifth Amendment," said Mick Devine, the union's New England regional vice president.
