This is a prime example of how FakeNews works. Somebody makes a statement which is a lie. Anybody who wants to could check it out, but the person is clearly too important to do this, or perhaps they are lying intentionally. Then others chime in and repeat the lie.
The important thing is that they talk about this lie about Melania referring to the original liar as the source. If anyone suggests they are wrong, then they attack that person. They NEVER EVER check out the facts and correct them and ADMIT THAT THEY LIED even if it was inadvertent.
It is common knowledge that Melania comes from Slovenia. Has anyone thought of checking the demographics of the country? The majority of them are Catholic. Google for

and you get April 1st, just like in all Catholic countries. But some people are certain that Melania is a Slav and that is spoopy because all slavs are Russian and they are known Communists seeking to corrupt our bodily fluids.

Fact checking is a hallmark of the free press. It used to be normal for newspapers to print retractions and apologies when something they published was non-factual. They would tell us how they slipped up and work on correcting it. Journalists knew that if the fact checkers (who were anal about it) would nor sign off on an article it would not be published. Fakenews changed all that and Obama propaganda laws made it legal.
