Dear Q, furloughed nonessential here.

I love my country and am willing to make sacrifices to root out the corrupt.

I also love my job, in which I fight for the public interest, and view myself as a public servant working for the people.

Am not wealthy, but live responsibly and can make do without a few paychecks.

Please don’t forget us during this shutdown.
