"Lopez was arrested on suspicion of first-degree felony possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, second-degree felony endangerment of a child and third-degree felony failure to stop or respond at the command of police. He was also held on suspicion of class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers also sought an immigration hold on Lopez after agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement reported that Lopez was in the country illegally and had an eight-time aggravated re-entry record."
