From an Anon…an update from the other night regarding Youtube ending "Embeds" and cross pollenation of information to the EU on Jan 22. EU out to take control of internet information.

"It is my prediction that on Jan 19th the EU will vote on Article 13, this will be passed meaning as it is written, no person in the EU will be allowed to watch YouTube in its current form, following that on Jan 22nd the new Terms and Conditions for YouTube come into effect in which the only change is that 'Embeds' name will change to 'YouTube Player' - the reason for this will be to eliminate the ability for YouTube to be embedded into any other platform, they are very worried about their European Project and are making moves to prevent the 'cross pollenation' of ideas."

A NOTE on ARTICLE 13 of the EU

"A particular point of contention is Article 13, which, were it to come to fruition, would make platforms like YouTube liable for copyrighted material. As such, platforms would require agreements with content producers (or whoever owns the rights to the music, film or television being shared)."

Article 13 includes - server owners liable for embedding news and third party content links into sites by clients they "serve"..pretty much stopping all cross pollenation.
