Gold is one of the best metals to use for radiation shielding in spacecraft and other components that are exposed to high levels or radiation such as remote controlled vehicles used in radiation clean ups. It would be an ideal and also very inconspicuous material to use for purposes of shielding your mind from mind reading and control EM radiation.
