Giant Hawaii public corruption case getting bigger yet again. It's some Chinese city lawyer lady, they're calling her Honolulu's chief legal officer and the corporatation counsel. No idea what that means. It's an appointed position by the mayor who's pretty slimy but i believe untouched by this case so far.

This lady isn't charged yet but they raided the public building and gave her a target letter like they did to the head prosecutor recently. The talking heads are all saying that means they're pretty much going to be charged. Some people got other letters last time that just meant questioning about their involvement, but everyone says the target letter means you're fucked.

No idea what she did yet. Article mentions that she's the person responsible for approving a 250k payout to the corrupt police chief when he got fired. Because that's a thing, apparently. And it's always great to payoff a guy who got fired for corruption which has just sprawled to a fucking drug trafficking ring that his prosecutor wife covered up because her brother was the supplier.
