This is damn cool. I know that a lot oif anons speak out of emotion and want G-men to rush in guns blazing and bring them out in chains, but they do not understand follow through. Creating strong libel laws lets ANYONE take down MSM or ANY MEDIA that lies other than inadvertently. Media used to do fact checking. And when they printed lies, they very quickly apologized, explained how it happened and work on preventing a recurrence. We can get back to that time by having a sane set of laws that is SIMPLE enough for all to understand. Writers will know how to write about conjecture, guesses and predictions without pretending they are facts. And readers will know how to take a writer/publisher to court when the law is infringed.
