that was such a good episode… "The Tapestry" I so wish other shows could be as good or TNG itself didn't shit its own bed with the movies. but I shouldn't let that ruin the memory
bleck - Q works as a character when he isn't rationalized and I tried watching the post TNG episodes and that's all they did with him. He's a device to tell a story not a fucking comic relief dissection of biology. Hard to explain - but TNG was special and was so because the episodes were written by the fans - they don't do that anymore. Now they just hire shitty writers and let the shitty writers work with cultists actors who just do shitty jobs and it all sucks.
Exceptions are often in the first season of some things but then eventually the cult gets involved switches out whoever teh talented writers are with cultists hacks and then rakes in the money off of what the good ones did. It's how Comedy Central went down the toilet…
I remember an anon wrote about that here - https://web.archive.org/web/20180315011010/https://www.reddit.com/r/greatawakening/comments/7xqgeo/abba17_satanscare_slim_shady_to_bombscare_boston/
well anyway, just good memories and wishes for the future where the cult doesn't shit everything up. Good talking to you.
depends on how they handle him. If they recognize how awesome a device Q is then that's spectacular - if they analyze his powers of pocket dimensions and make the story about the nature of his powers then that's where it all goes wrong. Fuck, even my little pony understood how to use him. (yes I watched an episode because I'm that big of a fan of the actor) - so…. hopefully they have learned their lesson…
the sugar addictions alone created by mcdonalds are a crime worthy enough to shut them down
