Agree. My mom stayed at home and I'm grateful for that. Many neighbors moms too. The one's who didn't looked down upon them I'm sure, because of their brainwashing.
Women who get high paying jobs don't want a stay at home husband or a husband that isn't at least their equal in earnings. There in lies a problem. Creates a wider split in wealth. I hear women all the time (single 40s-50s)..>I worked hard to earn blah blah blah, I am not gonna settle for some man who doesn't make what I make or more…blah blah blah…but but women only make 80% of what men make right?
The more simple answer also. When almost all women work, it DOUBLES the workforce overnight…that REDUCES wages making any single parent struggle to provide on one job.
Why anyone would rather join the fucking rat race, than stay at home with family is beyond my understanding. I'd happily stay at home given the choice and do something more fulfilling or care for family, pets etc.
I see women who stay at home and push the stroller though the neighborhood…they are always the nicer women you encounter. I always wanted that but it never happened.
