F***ers! They SO used this kid. He was "slow", under enormous stress, and a super easy target.
Honestly, I doubt he even did the shooting. I know he "admitted" it but lots of people have admitted to crimes they didn't commit.
Think about it. What other shooter killed a bunch of people, set down the weapon(s), and just walks out with everyone else like he's normal? He then walks to Subway and McDonald's. He's not acting crazy, he's not acting suspicious? What "kid" can do that. Hell, what adult can do that other than a trained assassin? He was either seriously mind-controlled or he is NOT the actual shooter.
Two students were interviewed and were shocked that he was named the shooter because they were WITH him (one) during and (one) after the shooting and they had no idea. Really? This kid is that good?
