Follow the money…
Does the Catholic Church audit/account for donations from it's congregations around the world?
Does anybody audit the donations to a church? The IRS has special rules limiting their ability to audit a church:

This is perfect cover for money laundering.
Check this 2012 article in the Economist for lots of crumbs: "The church, like other religious groups in America, is not subject to the same disclosure requirements as other non-profits or private entities."
Source: http:// www.economist.com/node/21560536
"The Holy See has also struggled to get itself placed on lists of jurisdictions that are deemed to have strong anti-money laundering controls."
"The Economist estimates that annual spending by the church and entities owned by the church was around $170 billion in 2010 (the church does not release such figures)."
it seems relatively easy to flow money into the Church…
But how do they get it back out?
Doesn't this explain why the Church is so rich? While claiming a vow of poverty?
Not from meager tithes from poor peasants in third world countries,
but as one of the world's largest and most distributed money laundering operations?
Dig into where the Catholic Church spends it's money…
Hospitals, Colleges, Religious Organizations around the world.
How do the powerful cartels who need money laundered get it back from the Church?
Follow me down the rabbit hole:
What if the 'child abuse' & 'pedofilia' law suits are actually the back end of the money laundering?
Notice how they are almost all settled out of court? Most of the abuse uncovered is beyond the statute of limitations? No criminal charges filed, but plenty of money (Billions) paid out around the world all due to these 'crimes'? What if the crimes are fake?

Anybody dig on any of the 'victims' that have been paid big bucks by the Church?
I know it sounds crazy, but it makes sense in a twisted way…follow the money
