Al-Moallem welcomed the new post of Pedersen as United Nations Special Envoy to Syria, expressing Syria’s readiness to cooperate with him to make his task a success in facilitating the intra-Syrian dialogue as to reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria, which serves the interest of the country in a way that leads to eradicating terrorism, ending the illegitimate foreign presence all over the Syrian territories, and preserving Syria’s integrity, sovereignty and independence.

Netanyahu to Iran: Get out of Syria fast, we won’t stop attacking
“I'm telling you, get out of there fast. We won’t stop attacking,” the prime minister said on Tuesday morning during a ceremony, in which he appointed Aviv Kochavi as the new chief of staff of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
Netanyahu also rejected statements by an Iranian official, who said Iran only sent military advisers to Syria and not regular fighting troops.
“They always lie. They are lying with that and they are lying when they say their attempt to launch a satellite into space failed,” he said.
The Israeli leader was referring to the remarks made on Monday by Iranian General Hassan Firoozabadi, who said its “military advisers” will say in Syria as long as required to defeat terrorists, and an announcement on Tuesday by Iranian Communications Minister Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi

Erdogan Confirms Turkey Plans To Create Security Zone In Syria
After talks with US President Donald Trump Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has confirmed his country’s intention to create a buffer zone in northern Syria. Erdogan was speaking on Tuesday at a meeting with parliament members from the Justice and Development Party he leads.
“In yesterday’s telephone conversation US President Donald Trump reaffirmed his decision to pull troops out of Syria. We’ve decided to go ahead with our contacts on all issues involving Syria, including the security zone Turkey will create,” the daily Sabah quotes Erdogan as saying.

Foreign Ministry: statements of Turkish regime president stress that he can’t behave except by language of occupation and aggression
An official source at Foreign and Expatriates Ministry told SANA in a statement that the Turkish regime, the sponsor of terrorists at Astana dialogues, couldn’t be but an irresponsible, reckless regime that behaves in a way which contradicts with the simplest principles of the UN charter, turning a blind eye to the international resolutions which have always affirmed respect for Syrian territorial integrity.
“Syria affirms that any attempt to target its unity will be considered as a clear aggression and an occupation of its territories as well as a support and protection for the international terrorism by Turkey,” the source said.
