Dems have more people with advanced degrees in public policy and public administration, and more attorneys with government experience.

That is the main reason the Democrat House is a fierce power to be reckoned with in DC, and a Republican House is the equivalent of a fat lady on the couch eating bon bons.

You can bet Trump is working like a mofo right now to figure out how to respond to the Dems' latest gambit (and wishing he had more expertise at hand).

Personally, I think Trump could have made a massive public spectacle of the Democrats vacationing in Puerto Rico instead of just a couple tweets.

There should have been press conference and TV ads as well as people on all the Sunday talk shows.

But, again, Democrats are good at this sort of thing and Republicans are bad.

Until the 1970s America was an amazing free-speech zone.

There was no Internet but you could read any kind of ideology at the public library and Universities were full of professors dedicated more to freedom of thought than to any progressive ideals.

Many boomers managed to turn out to be ignorant, entitled assholes, to be sure, but it was not for a lack of information about the world.
