Pelosi is the Speaker of the House. The State of the Union is a joint address to both chambers. Pelosi only controls one chamber (house) and cannot cancel or delay the address. Is this related to RBG not being able to attend? RBG already canceled other public events scheduled for the same date of Jan 29th.
