But I like eating animals… and they taste so good… and, I dunno, we are meant to eat them… so I buy from a local butcher who buys from a local farmer, who doesn't feed his animals GMO corn and/or other dead animals…

So anons understand why the vote fails… its a no confidence motion in the government, not the PM… if it had passed, the government falls and a new election is called… and the last thing Brexit needs is Jeremy Corbyn leading the government!

Now the government is saved, and the Tories can force May out as leader and give Boris the job he deserves, and the country needs him to have.

RM's problem is that he'd only be good for Brexit; he most likely couldn't win the General Election as leader… Boris on the other hand would pretty much guarantee the Tories another term. Usually there is a call for a GE after change in PM (the PM doesn't have to). In this case, given Brexit, the PM may decline in order to see Brexit through.. perhaps even saying he will step down once Brexit is complete and hand over the reins. So RM could be there for a couple of years, then hand over to Boris.
