We need to get the rest of the world's heads wrapped around some of the eccentricities of the area. Florida is NOT typical America.

But I love me some Florida Big Bend/Panhandle area. South Florida is all Yankees. Southerners know to stay within the Panhandle (or over at Amelia Island/Jax) to find their kindred. Was down in Naples/Ft Myers area a few years back the day of the Ga/Fla game. Went to a tiki bar to watch the game, and to my total shock it wasn't on a single TV. Idiots were sort of half-watching a Michigan game. Had to speak with the bartenders about their gigantic faux pas, and they changed the channel.
