House member can ONLY be removed by 2/3 vote of House. Even if they were arrested and in jail, they would not automatically be removed from the House, but if they can't be present to vote, then it could affect a quorum and majority vote (depending on how many in jail).
If they are removed from office by 2/3 vote, there will be a special election.
