Probably shouldnt say this but im stupid so here it goes.
The whole attack schools theme is used for the big emotional pull. But not really. First, these schools, most anyway, have at least one resource officer. If they are going for the emotional pull why not go after day cares or nurserys? To my knowledge they have none. The younger the better in this reguard. These cowns arent very efficient.
