Seems it's you who have unsupported beliefs based on ignorance. Picasso was know to have a very high iq btw.

I have first-hand familiarity with his work, mostly from the National Gallery, the Guggenheim, the Met and MOMA . Picasso is rightfully widely-considered to have been an artistic genius of the first order and probably the most-accomplished artist of an age where there were very many.

Included here is a story about how he fooled some Nazis and saved his and Matisse's Paintings when he stayed in Paris during the occupation.

Not really. I follow the Art Market. Most of the really expensive stuff is high quality. If you pay $30 mill for a well-known Painting, keep it 10 years, and sell it for $40 mill, that's a good investment with little risk. It's what's called a luxury market. They sold the Rockefeller mansion for $23 mill last year, but the Art and antiques from the house fetched well over $300 mill. So, the Art was a better investment than the real estate.
