You might as well go blow all your money at the casino. But to reap what you sew is a tremendous feeling nonetheless. Farming isn't about how much you make but how much you save. Start small, with easy to manage crops. Learn from that and progress year by year. It's a humbling racket, praying for rain, then the rain comes and keeps coming, so then you pray for sun and it gets too hot. Then hail hits. Or insects. Or fungus. It can smash a man to bits. But one good year gives you a hopeful high and it keeps you going. Good luck, anon.
